Jack has always reached for the guitar when life gets loud. It is a way to express what does not fit neatly into words, to work through the struggles of an ordinary day, and to come back feeling a little more like himself.
That experience is at the center of how he teaches. The point is not to make every student play the same way. It is to help each person build enough skill and confidence to find their own musical voice.
Lessons can be practical, patient, curious, and fun all at once. There is room for fundamentals, favorite songs, difficult chords, small wins, wrong notes, and whatever made you want to pick up a guitar in the first place.
Music is also part of the life Jack shares with his wife, Dr. Diana Jaber. Jack found his voice through six strings; Diana found hers through the flute. Their instruments are different, but the same love of playing, listening, and making room for expression is one of the things that brings them together.
